The Big Family Build is back for 2026!

Make a creation out of LEGO® bricks with your family based on this year’s theme ‘Angels, Dreams and Visions.’ All entries will be judged by Caleb, Andrew and Josh - familiar faces from Australia’s greatest brick building competition! Lots of prizes to be won!

How Do I Enter?

Create a construction made of LEGO® bricks based on this year's theme: ‘Angels, Dreams and Visions.’

Ideas

If you stuck for ideas, check out the stories of Bible characters such as Jacob, Daniel, Joseph or Peter. Or you could be more adventurous and take on a vision in a book of the Bible such as Revelation or Zechariah.

Judges

Our judges, Caleb, Andrew and Josh, will be looking for:

- Technical ability

- Aesthetics

- Builds that represent the theme

How To Enter

- Create with at least two members of the same family (You can also team up with someone you consider to be family). Team members can be of any age (including only adults) but we have a special prize category for builds by kids 16 years and under.

- Constructions can be made with LEGO® or duplo.

- Fill out the application form and send us some photos/video of your creation from various angles. Please include at least one photo of yourselves with your build and label all photos beginning with your last name.

- Be sure to encourage your friends and family to vote for your build in the People's Choice Award.

Please note: The competition is only open to Australian residents (and Aussie missionary kids).

Important Dates

Entries close: Sunday 30th of August.

People's Choice Award online judging: Wednesday 3rd of September -Sunday 6th of September.

Winners announced: Saturday 19th of September, on the Zenos Kids App, and Wednesday 23rd of September on social media.

First prize - $200 LEGO voucher (Sponsored by Exdia)

Runner Up - $150 LEGO voucher (Sponsored by Reeman Contructions)

People's Choice Award - $100 (Sponsored by Reeman Contructions) *If there are a low number of entries, this award may not go ahead.

Under 16's build - $50 LEGO voucher (Sponsored by Exdia)

Hat Trick Award - $50 LEGO voucher (Sponsored by Reeman Contructions). *This is a special prize category for people who have entered for 3+ years.

Finalists - All finalists win a bonus gift from Zenos Kids or Lost Sheep.

All entries receive a digital certificate with feedback from the judges.
