The Big Family Build is back for 2023, bigger and better than ever! Make a creation out of LEGO® bricks with your family based on this year’s theme ‘JOURNEYS.’ All entries will be judged by Josh, Caleb and Andrew - familiar faces from Australia’s greatest brick building competition! Lots of prizes to be won!

How Do I Enter?

Create a construction made of LEGO® bricks based on this year's theme: ‘Journeys’

Ideas

You could choose a journey from the Old Testament, such as the Israelites going to the promised land, a journey from the New Testament, such as Paul travelling to Rome or even stories from church history - where the good news about Jesus was spread around the world!

Judges

Our judges, Josh, Caleb and Andrew will be looking for:

- Technical ability

- Aesthetics

- Builds that represent biblical journeys using clear storytelling.

How To Enter

- Create with at least two members of the same family (You can also team up with someone you consider to be family). Team members can be of any age (including only adults) but we have a special prize category for builds by kids 16 years and under.

- Constructions can be made with LEGO® or duplo.

- Fill out the application form and send us some photos/video of your creation from various angles. Please include at least one photo of yourselves with your build and label all photos with your last name.

- Be sure to encourage your friends and family to vote for your build in the People's Choice Award.

Please note: The competition is only open to Australian residents.

People's Choice Award online judging: 24th-30th of July

Winners announced: 5th of August
