  1. Zenos Media’s content is provided to the buyer as a download and therefore cannot be returned. All content is available for preview. For this reason we ask that you carefully select items before purchase.

  3. Refunding a subscription will only be granted in exceptional cases, within 7 days and depending on how many downloads are credited to your account. 1.9   You may not use the Zenos Media logo or name without expressed permission.

Terms of Use for Purchased Content

2.1   Purchasing specific content gives you the right to download, use and store the content either electronically or as a printed hard copy.

2.2   In purchasing specific content you agree to the terms of use which apply to the particular item as outlined in its content description and the terms of use which relate to the media you have purchased. Please refer to the Video File Terms of Use, Audio File Terms of Use, Image File Terms of Use and Printable File Terms of Use for the terms relevant to your purchase.

2.3   Downloading content does not give you the right to sell, share, copy, republish, redistribute, license or sublicense the content.

2.4   In order to use the material, it may be necessary to share the file with another person electronically (for example, a youth pastor who holds a subscription may send a link to a video file through cloud storage to another youth group leader so they are able to download the video for their small group to watch). In the case of file sharing, the holder of the subscription is responsible for communicating the appropriate use of the content with the relevant person and will be held responsible if the content is inappropriately shared or redistributed.

Terms of Use for an Open Subscription: Introductory Plan

3.1   Purchasing a subscription to Zenos Media gives you access to use, download, print and (in specified cases) photocopy, any current content available on the site which has been produced by Zenos Media. It also gives you access to any new content added to the site while your subscription is active. It does not give you access to material produced or created by other contributors.

3.2   An open access subscription does not give you ownership of any content. Downloaded or printed content is only licenced for use while your subscription is active.

3.3   All downloaded content is subject to copyright laws. Each product has a content description which provides specific usage requirements and a link to the terms of use specific for its media types. The terms for use of visual images, video, audio and printable files are outlined as separate policies. Please refer to these. It is expected that all users will comply with the terms relevant to the content you download.

3.4   Purchasing an open access subscription allows you to access media on behalf of your ministry context. If you are purchasing on behalf of an organisation, church or school we ask that you have one password holder who downloads content on behalf of the organisation. Large organisations may consider buying more than one subscription.

3.5   Content and resources you have downloaded or printed must not be shared publicly or redistributed online in any form including, but not limited to, social media, email and websites.

3.6   In order to use the material within a ministry context, it may be necessary to share a file with another personal electronically. In the case of file sharing, the holder of the subscription is responsible for communicating the appropriate use of the content with the relevant person and will be held responsible if the content is shared or redistributed.

3.7   You are not permitted to re-sell, alter and/or redistribute any resource you have downloaded. For further details regarding editorial or commercial use of products, refer to the product description and its related terms of use.

3.8   The use of all content, especially artistic content, in discussion, presentation, sermons, lessons etc. must communicate the Christian intent of the author or artist. Derogatory, discriminative or defamatory use of content is not permitted.

3.9   Zenos Media maintains the right to remove any content without notice or explanation.

3.10  If you are unsure of how to appropriately use our media, or if you think you may have breached the Terms of Use, please contact us. We want to support you in your ministry and in the use of our resources.

3.11  Subscriptions will renew automatically unless they are terminated. Zenos Media reserves the right to change prices. Before you are billed, you will be notified of your upcoming renewal and of any changes to the pricing structure. A change in pricing structure is expected in 2020.

Terms of Use for Printable Files

We define a ‘printable file’ as any resource that can be printed and is not an image. This may include but is not limited to scripts, programmes, Bible studies, worksheets, colouring sheets, craft sheets, workbooks, storytelling files, forms, lyrics, sheet music, fact sheets, poems, short stories and other written content.

Downloading a printable file for personal/ministry use means you agree with the following terms:

4.1  You may print and make copies of the resource for use in your immediate ministry context. The number of allowable copies may be restricted depending on the file. This will be specified in the publishing details.

4.2  Copyright notices must not be removed from the file.

4.3  You may not republish or redistribute the content in print or online in any form.

Downloading a printable file for commercial use means you agree with the following terms:

4.4  You may use the content in video, websites, commercial blogs, commercially produced books, magazines, print media, advertising, when the work is not reproducible more than 1000 times. If commercial use will exceed these limits, please contact us.

4.5  When the work appears in a book, magazine, article or video, we ask that the author is credited and a copyright notice included where appropriate.

4.6  Copyright notices must not be removed from the file.

Terms of Use for Video Files

We define ‘video’ as any type of audio visual representation such as videos and animations.

Downloading a video gives you the right to use it in the following ways:

5.1   You may publicly or privately show the video an unlimited number of times and to an unlimited amount of people in your ministry context.

5.2   You may not use all or part of the video in any other resource production or film production without the expressed written consent of Zenos Media.

5.3   You may not publish the video on any social media site or website.

5.4  You may not copy or redistribute the video in any form.

Terms of Use for Audio Files

We define an ‘audio’ file as any recorded audio content including, but not limited to, music, songs, compositions, soundscapes, sound effects and narrations. Audio files are categorised as either being personal/ministry or commercial. Specified use of both category types is outlined below.

Downloading an audio file for personal use means you agree with the following terms:

6.1  You may publicly or privately play the audio file an unlimited number of times, to an unlimited amount of people in your ministry context.

6.2  You may not use the file in the production of any other media types such as films, presentations and slide shows.

6.3  You may not share the file electronically or on any website or social media site.

6.4  For use of the file in not-for-profit settings, please contact us.

Downloading an audio file for commercial use means you agree with the following terms:

6.5  You may publicly or privately play the audio file an unlimited number of times, to an unlimited amount of people in your ministry and or other context.

6.6  You may edit, incorporate and use the audio file in the production of not-for-profit and commercial productions such as film, audio production, broadcast and compositions. Credit must be given to the author and a copyright notice must be made visible where appropriate.

6.7  If you anticipate your commercial project will exceed a gross income of $10,000 or exceed production costs of $10,000, please contact us about the nature of your project.

6.8  You may not share the file electronically or on any website or social media site.

6.9  You may not not the file in the production of any material that is in any way offensive.

Terms of Use for Image Files

We define an ‘image’ as including, but not limited to, still photography, photography of artwork, digital art, vectors, drawings and graphics.

All images will be labelled according to one or both of these categories: personal/ministry use or commercial use. This labelling is determined by the author or artist of the content.

Downloading an image for personal/ministry use gives you the right to use the image in the following ways:

7.1  You may incorporate the image into work you create for not-for-profit, personal or ministry purposes. Examples include presentations, slide shows, Bible studies, and assignments.

7.2.  You may alter the image in a non-offensive way which is in line with the intent of the author or artist. Altering may include adding text, incorporating it into an artwork, assignment or presentation where no income is generated and where there is no mass distribution.

An image is not reproducible in any of the above media types more than 1000 times. If commercial use will exceed these limits, please contact us.

7.9  When the image appears as an unaltered graphic in a book, magazine, article or videos, we ask that the author is given credit and a copyright notice included where appropriate.
